Seated cable row

Muscles worked

How to do it

1. Sit with the feet on the platform, knees slightly bent, holding the handle with straight arms.
2. Sit tall with the chest up.
3. Pull the handle to the lower ribs, driving the elbows back and squeezing the shoulder blades.
4. Return until the arms are straight, letting the shoulders reach forward slightly.

Common mistakes

• Rocking back and forth to move the stack — keep the torso still.
• Rounding forward at the end — keep the chest tall.
• Shrugging the shoulders — keep them down.
